The game uses the theme of Gods and Heroes against the evil forces. You will be playing as a hero who is assigned by the gods to seek to restore the once-powerful allies known as the Angels to their former glory. All right, I’d rather forget about the cliché story for the minute and go directly into the play. A detailed guidance will walk you through the background story, the general system and controls, something you must have been acquainted with in some other browser-based MMORPGs.
There isn’t actually much to say about the combat system, which is turn-based and functioning in an automatic manner. That means you, as a matter of factor, are just audience when it comes to combat. And it’s the work outside the battle that ultimately determines the outcome. Thus you have to dump most of your time leveling your heroes, angels and mostly importantly strengthening your equipment. Then plus wise deployment, you might be able to take down enemies far stronger than yourself.
At the end of the day, League of Angels is a pretty decent MMORPG that deserves hours of your time. I am personally in favor of its hand-drawn artwork, plethora of dungeons, and copious mini-games. And as the game is still at early stage of open beta, the developer is lavishing events on a frequent basis. So if you are an MMORPG fan, it’s a perfect time to jump in. ^_^
