The most underratted game of all time! This great classic is definetely the best genesis game ever made.

User Rating: 10 | Hokuto no Ken: Shin Seikimatsu Kyuuseishu Densetsu GEN
This is a game that was based out of a japanese anime called "Hokuto no Ken", roughly translated, "Fist of the North Star". But this game didn't retain the licence, so they had to change the characters's names and slightly alter the sprites and story. The story is about a hero named Aarzak (The Last Hero), that is trying to save the world by defeating the three invincible foes, Groom, Gross and Garrok. This is, without a doubt, the most underratted game of all time. The gameplay is very simple, true, but it's easy to learn how to completely control the main character without problems. The grafics are really good for it's time, but they just constantly repeat the same background in lots of levels, in which I have to say that it is the only flaw in the game. The sound is just incredible for it's time and for the system that is being used, it is very enjoyable to ear the sound everytime you're in a level or boss fight. But the one thing I have to mention about the game, and maybe the thing that made people to hate the game, it's the difficulty. This game is EXTREMELY HARD! In the game, you're given a life bar, that you can increase by going to certain spots of the world map, and a power bar, that increases by each enemy you kill, and when it is in a certain point, your character destroys his clothes and becomes super powerfull...and that's it. If you die, you have to start the game all over again. You are given only one life, there's no continues. You need alot of practice to complete it. Since my childhood that I couldn't beat it. The first time I completed the game was in an emulator, and it was soooo cool to watch the ending of the game that made me almost destroy my Genesis. This is the best Genesis game, and the game's grafics, sound, replay value and twisty storyline not only make it a classic, but also, in my opinion, One of The Best Video Games of All Time.

Long live "The Legend of the Final Hero".
