The official review will give many the idea that Tomb Raider AoD has poorer then normal control thus making it unenjoyable and not wholeheartedly recommendable. I have to disagree wholeheartedly! True the control is different from other third-person games, even a challenge at times. But remember how the Resident Evil games play. They are said to be "hard" by some standards, but most gamers get used to it. That's how AoD is. Give it at least even half a chance and you'll get a feel for it. And yes, there are some "bugs" in the game. (and I mean just a few) But all can be overlooked by true video gamers. In fact there's a saying: If you can't stand imperfection - get out of life! Also, just looking at the rating that VideoGames.com gave it, one might think it's not even worth taking an honest look at. To be truthful, a 6.5 is NOT an honest rating for such a beautiful game as AoD! Think about it - They gave ENTER THE MATRIX a 6.4 - that game has way more "bugs" and no where near the gameplay that AoD has to offer. This game deserves no less then 8.0 (and yes, much more then that!) Videogames.com has admitted in the past to being too harsh to very good games and they have revised the rating of some games so as to give a more suitable gauge of what it's worth. I hope that those at Videogames.com can redeem themselves by doing the same with this game - the Best Tomb Raider game and the most awesome.
