Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light Announce Trailer

They didn't change anything from Tomb Raider. It's not meant to be part of the Tomb Raider series hence calling it Lara Croft!

This not a TOMB RAIDER. That's why it called LARA CROFT as main title. Yes is Lara from TOMB RAIDER but they called it like this because is different. Don't worry the TOMB RAIDER not changed. Most of you was expecting a new TOMB RAIDER but this is not so bad. Don't cry about it. Just play it. It's good.

The Tomb Raider became DIABLO based to the trailer. :D Not bad. It looks interesting. :D

whoohhooo... this is not what i expect. But gonna try the new direction. I think its fun coz it has coop.

Tried the demo: Great fluid controls and nice little puzzles, good amount of action. Also achievements + some findable stuff rise the replay value -> Recommended

this would make a great game thats worth playing if it was on the psp. that is the only place I would buy this. the psp needs better games like this. the console version will suck.

So far the comments seem mostly negative. I have played the demo and have to say I enjoyed it and wanted to play more. It is a fun game but nothing like the other Lara Croft games, but still enjoyable, only have the demo for experience so far. Play the demo!

I'll admit I wasn't so sure about this when I first heard about and saw the screenshots. I thought to myself "Wait...a Tomb Raider RPG?" But after seeing it in action at a friend's place I'll be honest I'm actually looking forward to this now. I say it's a very daring move on their behalf though considering what made the originals so amazing. But I'm open to trying something new.

9.5 on gamespot for sure.

Sure it won't be as great as the the first, but it's a step in the right direction.

Let me remind anyone who is talking smack about this game, that this installment seems to be the most faithful to the series since the release of Tomb Raider 2. Death traps and a heavy emphasis on puzzles were two of the core aspects of the originals.

When Eidos made the deal with Microsoft regarding TR Underworld DLC (Lara's Shadow Beneath The Ashes) exclusive to the Xbox360 on a multi-platform game. The DLC added six hours of extra playing time that's good for Xbox360 owners. PC and PS3 owners got nothing. Eidos slapped loyal Tomb Raider fans in the face saying that the DLC is not part of the main game (Tomb Raider Underworld) is a load of BS.The content was removed from the game to sell as DLC later. PC AND PS3 OWNERS BOYCOTT THIS GAME THIS IS A INSULT TO TOMB RAIDER FANS THAT WE GOT NOTHING BUT A SLAP IN THE FACE BY THE PEOPLE AT EIDOS.Nore Square Enix or Crystal Dyamics saw it are way by giving PC and PS3 owners some thing as DLC for Tomb Raider Underworld so they gave as nothing just a slap on the face like the people at Eidos no plans to they said. Well I have no plans to buy this download.
