A game worth downloading just a blast from start to finish.
Story
The game sees Lara Croft accompanied by Totec the atagonist Xolotol who took the mirror of her and he has to be stopped before dawn or the world is doomed.
Gameplay
The game plays from a top down view and plays not to similar to the Tomb Raider games but that doesn't mean you won't be doing puzzles and such. You will encounter countless enemies at times when you have done a certain obstacle and will progress throughout the adventure.
It is split in to like mini chapters and at the end of each it shall total up your score which unlocks things like Artifacts,Guns and even something to better you defense. Also you get Health and Ammo upgrades allowing you to carry more ammo but these symbols have to be collected and you will notice them in either Green or Blue. Also there are these Red Skull Orbs 10 in each section and if you get them all you shall be rewarded.
Speaking of you weapons and items you have a Grappling Beam to climb onto Grappling Hooks to swing across,a Javelin to help you reach hard to reach areas. Also some of the guns you will encounter are Grenade Launchers,Shotguns,Machine Guns and more.
As you progress the monsters get bigger and you deal with more dangerous booby traps and some are really intense. One section sees a wall slamming shut or some big beast chasing you. Finally you can play this with a friend but not online which is a shame because it would have been a cool feature. Playing it with a friend alters some of the level a little bit and shows the teamwork needed to overcome a certain obstacle.
Presentation
The areas range from forests,tombs to fire sections and and other various locations throughout the adventure and the story is nicely paced and the cut scenes aren't that bad even though there's so few.
Lastability
About 3 to 4 hours of gameplay and if you are up to it you might want to try and get some more valuable gooides.
Overall Opinion
This is a must download if you already haven't played it to be honest I didn't expect it to be any good but it has a good pacing,interesting story and lots of hidden stuff in hear and it plays really well. It's really a surprising hit for a series that wasn't really going anywhere. It might not have the Tomb Raider name and you might not be a bit of a fan of those games but you should try this out.
