The gameplay and visuals are amazing!
The gameplay isn't revolutionary but the entire playing experience is a blast. Its an arcade style, top-down shooter with the usual doze of puzzle and action gameplay; expected from Tomb Raider (or should I say Lara Croft).
Visuals/Environment: Excellent
The Environment was gorgeous, detailed and quite interactive. You may want to take a break from your adventure and just roam around. Its fun to look at the beautiful scenery but its even better when you see things explode!
Gameplay: Fast and Fun
You get to play Lara Croft in a whole new prespective; the top-down view maybe a lil odd for TombRaider/Lara Croft veterans... but I tell you this is welcome change!
The game is played through a series of Levels which incorporates different objectives and puzzles with varying enemies. Depending on how well you did on each level you get rewards to gear up Lara!
Aside from the different viewing angle the co-op play is anohter major shake up! Co-op play gives you chance to enjoy the game with a friend but I feel it could have been improve. Playing Totec, the 2nd Character, feels like a sidekick rather than a partner at times (and who wants to be 2nd-fiddle?).
Story: Short and Shallow
The story isn't a mind blowing actually its pretty plain as it gets... find the treasure > kill the bad guy > save the village, typical day for Lara Croft. The whole game isn't that long but you will enjoy every minute of it!
