Still the best RPG I have ever played, no question.
Landstalker is huge and complex, with many locations to explore and clever, mind-bending puzzles to solve. The isometric gameworld is visually stunning, and the character interactions with the scenery and terrain are more realistic than ever before. The many people littered throughout the game are well drawn and animated, and the various sound effects are well sutied.
The game will take a long time to complete, but will consume your life until you do it. Having said that, it's not a game to just pick up and play for a while and then leave. It is an experience, and a great one at that. If only the lead character's name wasn't Nigel, because this classic RPG has many a friend indeed.
