Like nothing I've played before, but certainly want to play again and again.

The game is amazingly different, unlike any game I've played to date. The game has so many different ways to approach each case that every replay becomes a anew. The graphics are up to par with previous RockStar titles like Red Dead Redemption, only better I can only hope all of RockStars future titles are as visually stunning. Along with great graphics you have an open world with buildings upon buildings open to discover and if you plan on collecting all the film reels and driving all the vehicles then you'll have to take your time and pain stakingly go over most of the map. This adds hours upon hours of gameplay aside from the 20 average hours the main camaign will take to complete, again replaying cases adds to gameplay time. Overall this game is a stunning experience that will virtually transmit you back to the lte 40's. If your a fan of Mad Men, Black Dahlia or open world games like Red Dead then you'll find something you'll enjoy. The gun fights are pretty cut and drive, cover and shoot. The missions don't vary much and the clues are pretty easy to find, personally completed the 94% clue achievment in my 1st play through with little replayed missions. I look forword to the next installment into this series, fingers crossed RockStar continues the series.

Only complaints would be gun battles being too easy, and gold reels are impossible to find since there is no clue system as in Assassins Creed when searching for chests. Also main quest missions are pretty much all either murder/ or drug related, lack of variety hurts a game otherwise worthy of greatness. Still if your in the market for a one of a kind experience then you would not be going wrong picking this game up. Since RockStar has already announced and released addition DLC the future of the series seems to be steadily building to more of a franchise and less like a one time hit.
