A bit frustrating at times, but pretty epic otherwise!

I'll admit that some of the gameplay is weird and at times tedious, but I strongly disagree with the people who rated it so low. This game had an amazing story line, and I found the combination of brute strength and magic during fights to be unique and entertaining. The plot does have a bit of wonky pacing, as sometimes it's moving along quite quickly until you're suddenly forced to spend twenty minutes looking for something or just trying to figure out where to go. The settings tend to be pretty awesome, though, so wandering aimlessly isn't all bad! The boss fights, however, were insanely annoying at times, primarily because missing one button in the sequence at the end causes you to start over, but I still found the game to be rather enjoyable overall. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good plot and something a little different from the norm. As long as you're patient, it'll be worth it.
