If I could only keep one ps1 game and be forced to incinerate the rest, this would be the game I would keep. Sure, Spyro is fun too, Chrono Cross is an amazing game, but only Klonoa sparks within me a true love for videogames. Probably my most played through game of my PS1 collection, Klonoa is a proof that 2D gameplay is still amazing when done correctly (even with New Super Mario Bros. out on DS, also a good game). The music is memorable, and even cool to some degree (but a few annoying sound clips happen at times, mostly becuase, it is a ps1 game...) The graphics are good and fit the game nicely. althoguh the land is 3d, the charcters are still 2d, as is the game play, making it a memorable experience unto itself. I overall give it a personal 10, simply because its memory lives on eternally in the gaming hall of fame to me. if you have yet to play this, do so. if you ever see it, snatch it. its an unforgetable gamng experience.
