Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil is the best adventure platform game out there. Forget Sonic, Mario, Crash Bandicoot and Spyro.
There are NO bad points about this game. The cartoon effect makes this game very good, as well as the 3D characters, which aren't blocky like Door to Phantomile. You can surf and snowboard, as well as inflate enemies and throw them. The story can get out quite alot of hours out of it, like over 15 hours, which is different to Sonic and Crash Bandicoot. The other characters in the game are good and inventive too, like Poka, being what seems to be a teddy bear (weird but cute one).
However, it's a huge shame that there isn't Klonoa 3 for next gen consoles (or for the PSP and DS), which means you can only rely on Door to Phantomile and Lunatea's Veil. Hopefully, Namco will revamp the series soon.
Overall Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil is a cute and addictive adventure game, that even Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario aren't as good as this. Best in the Series.
