A few years ago back when the Playstation 1 was still around there was a game released onto it titled Klonoa: Door to Phantomile as I heared it was really good but sadly I never could find a copy of it so I did the next best thing and that was to play the sequel that was released onto the Playstation 2 a few years later.
The story begins as a black and white puppy like character named Klonoa magical appears floating in the ocean until he is then rescue by two characters which one is a girl named Lolo and the other is named Popka as they heared that a person known as the Dream Traveller would appear in the Sea of Tears which points to it being Klonoa as the lucky one as he learns that the peaceful world of Lunatea is in danger of a great evil that is about to enter into this world so the heroes travel to the far kingdoms to collect the elements of the 4 anicent bells of the kingdoms while trying to avoid the troublesome skypirates Leorina and her kitty sidekick Tat from getting in the way
while trying to save the world of Lunatea.
There are alot of levels that you must take little Klonoa through as most of them are within the 4 kingdoms while other areas you must go through to get
to your destination but I have to say that the levels can be both sometimes fun to go through while a few of them like the ones at the near end will be a little challenging as they will take some good hand skills to master them as this game doesn't use the analog control sticks but just the d-pad to play the game and also to say that the music is some of the levels is really good and sometimes can get stuck in your head for awhile.
As with alot of games out on the market there is nothing more fun then collecting the many items throughout the game as Klonoa 2 has alot to offer as there is the many Dream Stones that appear in every level except for the boss battles plus a good thing to say that not only will they give you a extra life when you collect 100 but if you collect all 150 Dream Stones in each level you can unlock a special image in your image gallary that can be viewed at a amusement park kingdom and while your collect those stones keep your eyes opened for star shaped items as there are six pieces in each level that if you collect them all you will get a memory doll that can be used to unlock a special level but you will have to find that out yourself.
I never got to play the first Klonoa game that was released on the Playstation 1 a few years ago but I really did enjoy playing through the sequel as it was fun and at the same time had a cute puppy character as the star so if you are a fan of the first Klonoa game or your a gamer looking for a new style of gaming then try out Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil.
