Hey folks! Just recently played and adored Kirbys Epic Yarn, only drawback was obviously a lack of challenge. Just a quick question does return to dreamland have the same ridiculously good level design as KEY? Also is it a fair bit more challenging? Any info would be helpful! x
I can't say much about KEY, since I've barely played it, but almost any game is harder than KEY from what i've played and heard.
Krtdl has the difficulty of a normal kirby game up until world 6, where then the difficulty amps up, then there are extras that are considerably more difficult. So yeah, krtdl is definitely one of the more difficult kirby games.
As for level design, again I can't say much to compare since I haven't played much KEY, but the level design is great in krtdl, and much of what you'd expect from a kirby game. It gives you opportunities to use many different abilities to get what you need, and gives tons of variety, with beautiful backgrounds and an excellent soundtrack.
