Will yarn change the classic feel of Kirby....
Kirby's epic yarn is yet another amazing platformer for the wii. The new take on animation was very successful I found. Kirby's always been one of my favorite video game characters and it was great to see him again in a new way.
When I saw the intro to the game I got a little nervous because The yarn looked a little funny. But once I got into the levels and started to recognize all Kirby's famous enemies I loved the new style. The gameplay was fantastic it was perfect controls and the physics were dead on. All the levels were different and unique and perfectly detailed. The worlds were all very different so you weren't getting anything the same it was all new and fresh.
The only thing that was not perfect was the story. The story was much lacked in this game. It was easy to follow but there was just nothing that was exciting it was just to basic and lame. I think the developers could have put a little more effort into the story.
A great add on to this game was collecting different items and buying new items. Throughout each level there was different items to be found relating to that level. You could then decorate your small apartment place. Sometimes you would have to play the level over again to find that last piece of furniture. You got ranked on every level depending on how many coins you got. The ranks ranged from nothing, bronze, silver and gold. I also went back to try and improve my ranking.
The game felt a little to short but when you have fun and use Kirby to his full abilities you fly through it. This game is a great example of how good the wii is. I highly recommend it to wii owners.
