Quite simply, a charming little platformer.

It's just so easy to like Kirby's Adventure. Just like Super Mario Bros. on the VC it brings back good ol' classic platforming with some interesting ideas. The concept of swallowing different enemies to gain new abilities puts a nice spin on the formula. You'll be able to freeze your enemies with an icy breath, slice them with a sword, bounce around like a ball, turn to stone making you invincible and many, many more. Ideas like these may not be new, but they certainly are fun after all these years. It's slightly unfortunate then that Kirby's Adventure will only last you a couple of hours, and is nowhere near as replayable as Super Mario Bros. But at a mere 500 wii points, it still makes it a justifyable purchase.
It may not have the ingenious designs of say, Super Mario World, but if you've blasted your way through the other platformers on the VC then Kirby's adventure is a nice diversion from Mario.
