A great, pick up and play game that does not require hours of work to become fun.

I know kirby is kind of a baby game, but hey, this is one of the best games for the GBA i've played. The best thing about it is that you can just pick it up and play for 5 minutes of fun before turning it off, requiring no saving whatsoever, and having every location be only a couple of seconds away, making it so that it won't be a huge dissapointment when you get a game over in a brand new area, because you can get there in just a minute the next time. This is not a game for a serious gamer, however, because it is fairly easy, and will bore those people quickly. But for someone who just wants a couple minutes of pleasure a day, this game is it. GAMEPLAY: 9 Responsive controls, a colorful interface, and a cool screen that tells you what power you have make this game very easy to play. However, the map of the game can be quite confusing at first before you get the hang of it, and missile kirby is a bit touchy with the controls. Very good overall. GRAPHICS: 9 Bright, colorful characters and environments make this game fresh and fun every time you pick it up. Some animations could use some work, but overall very good for a GBA game. SOUND: 8 Nice little tunes play all the time, some good, some bad, but all not nearly as good as Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland. If you want some snazzy tunes, pick up that game. But the tunes are good overall, and the bad ones only play for a little while before you get to another area and another tune. VALUE: 7 A fairly long game that even once you beat, you will want to play some more for all of the hidden songs, heart containers, chests, and spraypaints (yes, you can spraypaint your kirby in this game!), and even once that's done, it's just plain fun to play around in all the levels you've already beaten. A multiplayer co-op is fairly fun, but not a lot of material for hard-core gamers. TILT: 9 A great pick up and play game for any age, and although it could have been a bit longer, a fun little game that's definitely worth checking out.
