Kirby's last outing on the GBA is a familiar affair that promises hours of enjoyable gameplay with very few new ideas.

Kirby has stared in many 2D platformers, hey even his 3D outings end up being 2D platformers (see Kirby 64). Not much has changed since the last platformer from Kirby, the copy abilities are the same, minus a few new ones and the gameplay is very similar to what is seen in the 14 year old Kirby's Adventure. The key new things are a new level progression system that allows you to play through the game's levels in basically any order you want to (I found this really cool.) Also, their are three other Kirby's roaming around the game helping you when you com in contact with them, presumably these cam be controlled by other human players (i did not test this option.) Overall I found the extra Kirbys rather useless until the final battle came and I needed something else for the boss to aim at. The game is very easy and should a be dynamite game for a child, but that final boss battle with about 6 different phases can get hard...but still beatable. The sound and graphics are passable for a GBA game and you will find yourself really diving into the level to try and unlock the extras paths and prizes. In short, If you like Kirby, stick around and play a great Kirby game, If you don't like Kirby, you won't find anything here that will change your opinion.
