Kira Kira Pop Princess / Music Hour is a story about a cute "Pinky Street" girl (riginally named Gaby, but you can change her name) who constantly fails auditions because of her bad dancing. One morning after a particularly bad audition, she passes out from hunger and wakes up at a club called "Angela", in Rainbow City, owned by Anna, her former mentor. From here, Angela is yours, given to you by Anna because she's going on a trip around the world, much to Elvira, your rival's, disgust! You aim to make your mentor proud, and set off to get better at dancing, and to learn about fashion from the girls of Rainbow City! In every part of the city, there's the dance studio, a clothes shop, a pod machine (gashappon machine) and a photo place, where you can take pictures of your character :)

Game play is simple and easy to pick up. On easy mode, simply tap the correct colour in time to the music! On normal mode, not only do you tap, but you also slide and jiggle to get the right moves! By beating the other girls, you win money and prizes from the audience. Prizes can be hair, clothes, accessories, P coins or titles. After finishing a dance, you get a grade that ranges from F to A++, the better the grade, the better the prize!

Kira Kira Pop Princess / Music Hour also includes two player games, either with another game card or without.

I had so much fun with this game, I couldn't put it down!
It took me just under five hours to get to the final boss, and I was dissapointed because I imagined that to be the end of the game, but you can start againg and still have everything you gained from the first time you played!

There's so many different items to collect and customise your character with, you'll have to complete it more than once to get them all, and if you've started on Easy mode, you can flip to normal and keep everything from your previous game, if it suits you :D Or you could just start afresh!

I awarded this game 9.5/10 because I feel that it should have longer game play, other than that, it's a great game worth buying!
