    Dont sweat the little things

OK so I reviewed the game when it first came out and gave it a 9/10. After playing through 75 hours and beating it, I change the score to an 8. For some good reasons. Amalur has some of the best action rpg gameplay in a... Read Full Review

    Great game.

Superb music, the timing for music at battles, walking, near something interesting, just totally enjoyable. The mechanic, the way the character moves and the animation for the battles, are very well done. The story... Read Full Review

Puchased via steam. Cartoonish RPG with mouse 1 spam combat.

Hey people. Just want to start off that I have been a die hard RPG fan since I fell in love with FF3 for the snes about 18 years ago. Ill keep this brief, and of course this is just my opinion. Pros: - Comb... Read Full Review

If you play too much RPG, chances are you'll be branding this generic. And for a good reason too.

For over half a century, the role-playing game (RPG) genre have evolved according to the market of the masses. It has become vague in its meaning - be it pedantic or pragmatic. It has evolved into more complex or into mo... Read Full Review

Good Game - Beautiful graphics, awesome fighting mechanics, Great Character cutomization, BUT RPG farming/grind feel.

Just completed the game and most (all I could find) of the side quests – even did a few of the alternate side quests.) -170 hours, level 40, 213 quests completed, none failed… – for $60 I feel that was a worthwhile inve... Read Full Review

    such a great start but

So here we have an action & loot oriented RPG, aka Diablo, Titan Quest etc. Not Skyrim as others would compare. One of the biggest improvement in this game is the combat. Its awesome. When I began to play this game I g... Read Full Review

A well-made but slightly bland ARPG with fast, fun combat, a comprehensive crafting system and lots of lovely loot.

Coming out at a time when the memory of the excellent Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is still fresh in the minds of many gamers may not have been to the advantage of 38 Studios/Big Huge Games when they released this game. But, ... Read Full Review

A good enough game to appreciate

Amalur is kind of like what Fable 2 should've been. The story is darker, combat is more satisfying, and the backstory is more interesting. Did I mention that the combat is more satisfying? If you've heard anything abo... Read Full Review

    Very good, actually...

The game is a very satisfying RPG that is kind of reminiscent to Fable: TLC (Which is still my favorite game to date, it was one of THE games of my childhood, but enough about that). The graphics are great, no doubt a... Read Full Review

    Great game, good graphics

The storyline is maybe a bit basic. The world is looking great, so are the graphics. It has a nice combat system. If you hang to long in an area you'll level out of it and every this is easier. Dungeons scale too you w... Read Full Review

Amazing what gets called an RPG these days.

Somehow somewhere RPGs got really dumbed down. Pretty sure it's the BioWare EA formula they've latched onto that this game seems to suck like a leech. I'm sure if you liked DA2 you'll like this... It's just these "acti... Read Full Review
