Kingdom of Paradise is a well laid out game and though short, will have you replaying and begging for more.

Kingdom of Paradise takes you on a somewhat, avearge journey. The game is a little short compared to rpgs like Zelda but the amount of effort put into every ounce of it makes up for that.

Kingdom of Paradise has you playing as the heroic, determined, and highly diligent Shinbu. The game slightly leaves you at a thinking point on account of the fact that it doesn't tell you Shinbu's life story or waht you might need to endure in this game. It just shows him practicing and saving a girl named Sui-Lin.

The gameplay is the major effect on this baby. Overall, I think the battle system is exceptionally reasonable. It reminds me a little of Star Ocean: Till the End of time, with the mix of using the Kenpu and Bugie which brings me to my main point. The gameplay is shaped out by the Bugei Scroll system. It basically allows you to make your own fighting combos that can easily be accessed by using little card things called Kenpu. As your Bugei grows stronger, you can unleash deadly attacks which brings me to my other point. Two words. Too powerful! Once, you have superb bugei, you're just to strong. Unleashing an attack on a pack of enemies will easily kill them. The enemy system need to be what I think "flamboyant." More extravagent. Much harder.

The game's graphical style is a combo of anime with a touch of realism. The characters in a way, look realistic while very cartoony. That is a style I like. It didn't do as good a job at it compared to Kingdom Hearts but still good. The frame rate isn't the smoothest stuff you'll ever see but it's a reasonable pleasure for those straining eyes of yours. It also delivers what I think, some of the finest graphics for a PSP RPG in a while.

The sound is an ancient chinese/korean/japanese mix. All those old little songs palyed on those old little string instruments are there. Besides, you wouldn't want to listen to "Window Shopper" while searching in the bamboo forests for your pet monkey, Flippy now would you? Well, maybe some will but others will not.

The game has a high value. It doesn't go anywhere on little Jimmy's bookshelf next to Fable but there are plenty of choices to be made, and many lead to new secrets. Well, you're always going to end up going to the destination you were supposed to be in but some things can change the game outcome. The major part of it is collecting that all so sweet, Bugei and Kenpu. Now you can scare all those little gangsta bullies jay walking down the street with your stick of burning fury!

I give kingdom of Paradise an eight in tilt beause it isn't the most original game ever, but has amazing quality.

Go for it! Kingdom of Paradise is a great game and you will litterally be begging for more. I know I was.
