Kingdom of Paradise was a great pick-up and I highly recommend it to anyone that owns a PSP. Unlike many other PSP games, this one did not seem to suffer from the lack of polish and rushed feeling that is present in many of the more disappointing PSP titles. Detailed and attractive graphics combine with well-voiced characters to tell a story that held my interest throughout the game.
The combat system, which consists of numerous combos, some of which offer complete flexibility in design, could have been better. Every sword attack is done with one button, but I still found combat to be enjoyable. The only thing there is that you can easily win battles by running away to charge up chi, and then use your chi arts to deliver more damage than you possibly could with a sword. Overall, the gameplay was enjoyable and the story was well done. Graphics are impressive, and the music and voice-overs are effective. A great game for PSP.
