One of the best games of all time!
I had always wanted to try it out, I just couldn't bring myself to buy it. I was being rushed in a store one day to "hurry up and pick one" so out of curiosity I grabbed Kingdom hearts.
I got home, popped it in my PS2 and then didn't sleep all night. I was so hooked. The game has fun new characters like the main one Sora and his 2 friends Kairi and Riku. A storm comes along on there little island and the next thing Sora knows he cant find his friends and he sets out on a journey. Now, the game is not at all that basic. Its actually got a VERY deep and interesting story full of evil plots and back stabbing and betrayal.
Sora does not go on this journey alone. He is accompanied by none other than Donald and Goofy! Yes, THE Donald Duck and Goofy... Goof? Idk
Anyway, Kingdom Hearts ia an action RPG. It has a very good lock on targeting system and lots of free roam. You can set skills on Donald and Goofy to make them do what you want and they hold there own very well. No babysitting for Sora.
Also on top of the fun action packed battles there is an arena you can fight in. Its Mt. Olympus from Hercules. You can fight Cloud and Sephiroth ther from Final Fantasy VII. Sephiroth is harder than the final boss!
And you can create your own Gummi ship to fly in. Thats fun!
This game is soooo great. It greatly surpassed my expectations for it. Thats why I am giving it 10 keyblades out of 10.
