Kingdom Hearts does an amazing job of capturing the Disney cheer and a dark story to go behind it.

When I first saw this game, I thought it was cool to see Disney characters helping you as you fight through their worlds. I bought it simply because of that. Upon playing it for endless hours, I learned that the game itself is marvelously well-done and is definately one of the best games ever made.
You play as a boy named Sora, who unexpectedly is chosen to be the master of a marvelous weapon, the Keyblade. His small island home is taken over by darkness in the form of Heartless, something that people's heart become when their heart is stolen. These are your main enemy in the game that come in many different forms and styles. It is your duty to destroy these heartless and the one controlling them.
Upon escaping your island home you end up in a strange town. There you meet your new partners, Donald and Goofy, and from there the story picks up. You, Donald and Goofy are the only ones standing between the worlds of Disney and the Darkness.
The story is just amazing, blending Disney and Final Fantasy in way previously unheard of. With many twists and turns, you'll never guess what's about to happen next. The story is tear-jerking and thought-provoking at the same time. It truely makes you wonder why other games aren't the same.
The gameplay and combat are just plain fun. Heartless spawn randomly and you must fight them as they to gain experience to level up. Upon leveling up you gain new abilities up to the point where you could keep and enemy in the air for 6 seconds from doing combos. The boss battles are fun and intense, fighting famous Disney villains like the Oogie Boogie and Maleficent. Not to mention an optional boss battle with Sephiroth.
The RPG elements are standard, equip items to give you stat bonuses and customise your weapon to fit your fighting style. That being said, it is still very fun to see what you could come up with.
The Art style is beautiful and the music is truely epic and mood-changing. It can really get you pumped to hear a scary, intimidating boss theme.
The camera can get a bit jerky, but otherwise it's cooperative. You can move it so it's no so much of a problem once you get used to it.
The voice-acting is pure and doesn't have any downsides to it. Each character is different and doesn't sound generic at all.
To wrap it all up, Kingdom Hearts is a game which you could play all day, and still be addicted to its charm. Square Enix and Disney have cooked themselves up a masterpiece that you will always remember, no matter how many more good games you play. This game is perfect for anyone, it's simply...fantastic.
