Amazing mix of Final Fantasy and Disney to make one great RPG.

User Rating: 10 | Kingdom Hearts PS2
Let me start by saying, i've always been a Final Fantasy fan, i've always liked Disney cartoons and movies, my thoughts on them coming together for one game........err, well, lets just say i didn't really have faith in it. I put off getting this game for a while, if ever. Then one time my friend was telling me about it, and it sounded pretty cool, i tried it out at his house, i loved it so i finally got it, beat it, and it became one of my favorite games, and guess, what, i'm about too tell ya why...

Gameplay and Story:

The story to Kingdom Hearts is that worlds are slowly being destroyed by mysterious beings called Heartless. The King(Mickey) has gone out to investigate, meanwhile, his two most trusted friends donald and goofy have been sent to find the Keyblade Master(Sora) for he is the one who can stop it. Meanwhile on sora's home island, he wakes up to a terrible storm, and finds out his islands are being devoured by the heartless. His best friend Riku, is anxious to see outside worlds, so goes along with the darkness just to escape. His other friend Kairi, mysteriously disappears with the heartless, and that's where his quest begins...

This game is an action RPG type game, where you run around and enemies appear right there, not field change or anything. Sora has the options of attack, magic, and item, to use in battle. When gaining enough experience, Sora or party members will grow a level, when growing a level, one thing goes up at a time. There can be Health Points, Magic Points, Strength, Defense, Ability Points, or amount of items you can hold.

Graphics:

The graphics of this game are surprisingly good. It only had two CG movies during the whole game, one at the beginning and one at the end, both are fairly long and very awesome. However, actually in game graphics are really good to begin with so you won't miss them. Great detail on the enemies, characters and environments.

Sound and Music:

This game has the classic music from different disney movies in the different levels, and some pretty good music from other worlds too.

Replay Value

Pretty good, i mean, i've replayed it 10 times and it doesn't really get old.

Overall:

Overall, they took a chance putting FF and Disney together, but seriously, i'm glad they did cause it turned out great. Lunar out.
