- The Bottom Line:
- "Almost, but not quite"
In the newest installment of the Kingdom Hearts series, Sora (by the way, isn't Sora a girls name) must fight his way through countless heartless to save the world of Jimmy Cricket's journal.
The story is really long and can take up 30 hours of game play but it is sometimes a drag and a bore when you're advancing in the story so slowly. It may be a bore at times but also is very interesting and fun.
The gameplay is a little bit different than other Kingdom Hearts games. You still visit the same worlds and defeat the same heartless but now in some places the battle style changes(depending on where you are in the game).Sometimes it will be taking turns attacking(like Pokemon) and sometimes it will be shooting(kinda like Call of Duty except worse). This new exciting twist can excite some fans but also disappoint some as well.
The good still stays like in other Kingdom Hearts games.Great looking worlds, interesting story(more or less),easy battling, tough boss fights(again more or less),and many other things that Kingdom Hearts fan love.
But with the good comes the bad.Camera issues is the biggest one.It has been around in Kingdom Hearts games for a very long time.Lock-on is another issue.Sometimes you want to run but your locked on and cannot run away easily. This makes controlling your character much harder. These are just the big issues with Kingdom Hearts. You will find little issues as you proceed through the game.
Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded has introduced another problem. The still characters are boring and show no emotions at all.Although it has vivid cut-scenes,most of the time you're stuck with the still characters.
Although Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded is a step down in the series, fans will still probably find it fun but if you're new to the series, choose another game.

This scene takes place after you beat Sephiroth, talk to Cloud, then return. An epic fight ensues :D.Posted Jun 10, 2011

This is the English Opening of Kingdom Hearts 2. Its kinda long, around 5 minutes, but its pretty cool. The song is Sanctuary by Utada Hikaru.Posted Jun 16, 2006
