2011 has been a great year for Jrpgs and RPGs in general! With games like Final Fantasy Type O and The 3rd Birthday that came out this year it kind of makes you think of some past favorites! And one of my favorites is the Kingdom Hearts series...so I thought I would do a review on it. I know most everyone who wanted to play it already has but it's never to late to add new fans to the fanbase!

The Little Mermaid Themed Island( this coming from a person who loved The Little Mermaid movie!)

The Time Gap between This Game and the First One...It leaves a few gaps in the Story but They Have Been Filled by a number of Spin off Games

Long ago when I first heard about Square-Enix and Disney collaborating on a game...well I personally thought it could turn ...OK. And when the first KH game came out I bought it and I ended up loving the game! Then not long after the first game came out they confirmed that a sequel was in the works...and if you know me you will know that I hate sequels! I'm not saying that all sequels are bad just most of the ones that are thoughtlessly thrown together just to get more money! In my opinion a good sequel needs to improve and add to the story while keeping the things that we loved about the first. And KH 2 TOTALLY delivered! The graphics in this game where better than the last game...but then again graphics don't make a game the story does! So lets talk a bit about the story! And don't worry I will try to make this review as spoiler free as possible!


In KH 2 you start off the game by playing as Roxas in Twilight Town with his three friends. And it seems like is just a normal teenager (I think he's a teen but not quite sure) until he stumbles upon an abandoned castle and a strange man. And Roxas is wielding is Keyblade soon after! Oh and FYI you won't be able to play as Sora for about half way through the game almost but Roxas's story keep you entertained till then. Their are also some new Island/worlds that make their debut in this game like Tron and the Pirates of the Caribbean! And speaking of new worlds...my favorite would have to have been the Pirates of the Caribbean one because you get to fight along Jack Sparrow and sail the high seas! Plus the dialogue between Jack and Sora was EPIC! And I don't know about you guys but it seems to me like their are very few games that take your emotions for a roller coaster ride and KH 2 is one of those games! I found myself almost crying or about to throw my controller at the TV at certain points in the game! And the ending of this game is VERY memorable! Their are just no words that I can use to explain the ending of this game! So this game as earned it's place as one of my favorite games in the series!
