The Bottom Line:
"Masterpiece"
The long awaited kingdom Hearts 2 is here and it surely doesn't disappoint...
It's not outrageous to say that Kingdom Hearts 2 is an improvement in many ways!
Sora is yet again the main-character in the game, but surely you'll get to see new faces as well.
Without spoiling, Sora isn't the only playable character in this game, which actually isn't as bad as it sounds.

Story:
As I said, Kingdom Hearts features a bunch of new characters that weren't in the first game, like for example Seifer(FF8), Vivi(FF9) and some other FF and Disney characters, but also some brand new characters, who are included in some brand new worlds.
Telling you anything about the story, would mean spoiling a whole lot...And believe me, you'd want to find out yourself anyway!
The game pretty much starts of where chain of memories ended.
If you haven't played chain of memories, then the game will pretty much remain a enigma until you've almost completed the game!
And that isn't necessarily a bad thing, since the game suddenly seems more exciting.
It doesn't really matter if you've played chain of memories or not, you'll end up knowing pretty much everything anyway.
The young protagonist Sora is yet again facing new and more challenging adventures, exploring new worlds and visiting old ones.
Some villains, which you probably weren't expecting are back, but as cruel as I am, I won't say a word!
You'll notice that Sora's grown a few inches since the first game, and well, he can't be walking around with clothes that don't fit him, so you'll get new clothes as well, which kind of give Sora a more rough and mature look.
As Sora, his voice actor, Hailey Joel Osment, is going through puberty as well, so you'll notice that Sora doesn't sound the same in this game,
his voice is more mature...
In your journey you'll encounter some new enemies called the nobodies, which without spoiling, aren't heartless.
You yet again sort of pop out of nowhere and start helping Disney characters in famous Disney worlds, while you're watching 3D movie sequences taken from these movies.

Graphics:

The graphics that were impressive in the first game, are even more impressive in this game!
What made the visuals in the first game so impressive was that, although the game was featured in full 3D, the characters still remained pretty much alike, and you'd hardly notice they were in 3D.
The visuals have improved, some environments are unbelievably good made!
The environments are still very linear though...
The game is very detailed, you'll recognize places from Disney movies like Mulan for example.
Some things that they've made in this game, blew me away!
Like for example, how the heck did they make the big enemies so lithe?
It's really incredible to see these big giant monsters moving around so fast and smooth, like regular heartless(I'm referring to the really giant monsters!).
The game is just gorgeous to look at, you'll end up wanting to see how every new/old world is going to look like, because you'll be anticipating that it'll look great!

Gameplay:

As I said earlier, Sora has gotten new clothes, these clothes allow him to do things he normally wouldn't be able to do.
So for the first time in Kingdom Hearts, you'll be able to transform into different forms.
You do this by filing up your drive gauge.
You kill an enemy, and he'll drop these yellow glowing orbs, which fil your drive gauge, similar to how green orbs fil your HP gauge.
You can summon in this game as well.
Chicken little is one of the new characters you'll be able to summon.
And I have to say that these summons are pretty much worthless considering that Sora is able to transform now.
You won't be needing them, but if you like to summon, the command is at least available.

As in the first game, a lot of button mashing is required.
But another button to use is introduced as well, namely the triangle button.
With this you'll do "special" attacks. It works like this...
You'll see a reaction command pop up on the screen, which well tell you to push the triangle button, in order to successfully make a great finishing combo/special attack.
This isn't challenging at all, since you'll only have to push the button repeatedly in order to succeed.
You will mostly be spending your time with the attack button( X ).
The gameplay isn't flawless though...The new features aren't very challenging, although very cool but really not more then so.
Some new mini-games are available in the game as well.
They can be found in Pooh's world, as in the first game.
You won't be playing them a lot, since they aren't that amusing to play.

Sound:

As I've mentioned before, Sora's voice has changed.
Both his voice-actor, Hailey Joel Osment, and Sora have matured.
The voice-acting in the game is brilliant.
Considering the amount of voice takes they've put into this game, makes it only more impressive since it sounds absolutely great!
And as in the first game, this game has a theme song, which is yet again performed by Utada Hikaru.
It's definitely not bad, it's the opposite, it's great!

Value:

The game continues to successfully capture the spirit of both Square and Disney.
Fans of the the original first game, are going to love this sequel.
Don't go thinking, "I'll have to buy the first game and chain of memories to fully understand everything", because you don't need to.
If you want a great RPG, go ahead and buy Kingdom Hearts 2.
Although I would recommend that you at least finish the first game.

Reviewer's Tilt:

All in all Kingdom Hearts 2 is a great sequel, that both fans and new-comers to the series will enjoy.
You'll get to know everything you basically need to know, by just simply buying this game.

I Thank You All For Reading My Review!
I Hope You Liked It! :D
