Kingdom Hearts 2 is an immersive and engaging RPG game that all gamers will love.
The graphics and audio in this game are great. However the graphics can occasionally be chunky. However, during cut scenes the animation is a lot better and very fun to watch. The main problem with the graphics is the mouth animation. It could've been a lot better. The audio was wonderful, with tracks all over the place.
The gameplay is pretty good. You go from world to world helping people and fighting the heartless as well as facing enemies like Pete, Maleficent, and Jafar. The mix of classic Disney characters, final fantasy characters, and new characters from the game is very entertaining. The combat system is innovative but can sometimes be hard to navigate. You basically scroll around a mini menu in the bottom left of the screen and click the x button to select it. There are a variety of commands like attack, magic, and items. Enemy health is seen in the top left. Sadly, none of the bosses get much tougher then each other.
The storyline is very engaging but it can be very Skippy and not make sense at times. Overall though, you'll enjoy it at the end. The actual ending can be unsatisfying, and there's no save game after it ends and there's also no New Game + feature, meaning Epic War 3 is more re playable than this game.
Overall this is a awesome game. A combination of great graphics and audio, easy and fun gameplay, and an immersive storyline make this an awesome game. Although there is no New Game +, the story isn't sensible sometimes, and the combat menu is slightly hard to navigate you should be able to enjoy this game quite a bit. 9 out of 10. Good job Square Enix, you've done it again.
