Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories is the next chapter in the Disney/Square collaboration that takes place before Kingdom Hearts II. The story picks up where Kingdom Hearts left off, apparently Sora, Donald, and Goofy have been led to a mysterious castle where the have forgotten all their abilities. The people in charge of the castle: The Organization has got a plan to make Sora their slave. As you play as Sora you’ll visit old worlds from the first game in your memories and learn about the Organization’s plan. Well the storyline is more complex then the first game which is a good improvement. The battle system is based on cards. Sora must build a powerful deck to take on the Organization. Every fight revolves around cards. At times boss fight can be frustrating and may require you to change you deck around. Though if you’re a fan of the first game and want to see the shocking story developments at the end you’ll gladly change your deck around. The controls are good and the graphics are quite nice for a GBA game. Bottom Line: If you’re a fan of Kingdom Hearts and want to really understand the second game better you’ll buy it and love it despite the boss fights.
