just for everybody information Nomura said in a interview that after 3d is KHIII and most likely it will be on PS3 hopefully also there is not going to be a remixed version of 3d
TGS 2011: Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance Preview
It's Kingdom Hearts 3...D!
Playing a Japanese role-playing game in a language you are unfamiliar with is a challenge, but for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, we were at least able to get a feel for the combat by fighting a variety of heartless in the streets of Traverse Town. The Tokyo Game Show demo let us choose to play as the moody Riku or the perpetually upbeat Sora. In our gameplay demo below, you can see Riku in action, but we also spent some time as Sora. The first thing we noticed was that combat was fast and flashy, much quicker than what we've seen in previous Kingdom Hearts games. Sora zipped through the air, propelling himself from one lamp post to another. While in the air, he can also do an area attack where he plummets to the ground and knocks back anyone that gets too close.
You'll notice in the gameplay demos below that Riku is accompanied by two bizarre-looking creatures. Sora was also followed by a couple of cute animals (one was a giant panda and we weren't sure what the other thing was), and we're not sure who they were or where they came from, but they proved to be helpful. What also helped speed things up was the fact that Sora can glide on rails, which makes moving from one end of town to the other much faster. But, have a look for yourself at the upcoming Kingdom Hearts for the Nintendo 3DS.

I am so excited to play this. I know 358/2 days wasnt the best game ever but it was kingdom hearts and i remember feeling the same emotions... they make me want to be a keyblade master. maybe this game will finally make me feel like one.
This, kid icarus: uprising, and star fox 64 were why I got a 3DS, (it was also my birthday). If they had multiple characters (from 358/2), command styles (birth by sleep), and reaction commands (KH II), this would be perfect.
Too bad the thing is on 3DS. Just gotta hope they release a Re: version of it on PS3 or on Vita, because I (and a lot of other people, I assume) can't get money for the 3DS, seeing as I'm getting a Vita and that there's a crapload of awesome games being released. If only they could get another quality title on the 3DS, then I *might* get one, but we'll see...
This game and along with Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Luigi's Mansion 2, Kid Icarus Uprising, Ocarina of Time 3D, Shinobi, Nano Assault, Monster Hunter 4, Super Smash Bros 3D are the reasons I bought a 3DS.
I think i have to buy a 3DS for this. And i will, even if i have to sell my heart to the darkness!!!!! :D
In response to TeenGamer92's comment, the great thing about the 3D mode on the 3DS is... you don't have to use it. As for the video, I can't wait. This game looks so amazing :3
I played Street Fighter on the 3DS in a Gamestop, and the 3D turned my dull headache into a headsplitting one. The graphics on it look amazing w/out the 3D effects. Anyways, this game looks absolutely amazing and it's just about the only reason I'm getting a 3DS (well this and OoT, StarFox, etc.)
On the list of games that will use the second circle pad on the 3ds, this game was on it. but in the gameplay video they are not using it. guess this shows that not all games will require it. (this one wont require it.) but honestly do we need to analog sticks to play KH?
okay i am so excited about this i've read the same article 20 times and keep checking for a release date, i've refreshed the same page 50 times, hoping to see a release date i know it's a bit eccentric of me but i am nuts about this game
From what it looks like is that KH DDD looks like a mix of Birth by sleep and 358/2 Days,Awesome
The fact that he's not playing with that God-awful slide pad thing sold me on this game...
Awesome. I hope there's a pre-order bonus =D Oh yeah, that reminds me. We need more news on Birth by Sleep Vol 2. It's probably going to be coming out for the Vita, so I'll have to buy one (I bought a 3DS just for this game =p).
Looks great! Can't wait to see some new locations (If I get put into traverse town one more time I am going to find the tallest building there and promptly jump off of it and hope for the worst :P ) and characters...interesting though that this demo is being played without the second analog that said will be required...
so glad to finally hear something about kingdom hearts this game looks greats looking forward to playing it, hopefully i hope i hope they'll release the japanese and the english version at the same time or around the same time, and also i hope it's out by the summer so i got something to do :P
@endorbr the only annoying thing is if your using the gyroscopic function and moving the 3DS around does the 3d look funky unless you move your head with it, other then that the 3D looks great, in my opinion at least. i only have zelda OoT so far in 3D but based on that it looks sweet.
@nintendo-naut - The point I'm trying to make is that it would be a blurry mess if you were standing there looking at it in person. Pretty much every review I've read and person that I've talked to who has played the 3DS have all said the same thing: "The 3D adds nothing to the gameplay and is more annoying than not."
@endorbrIt's not "if you say so" it's a fact. If he had the 3D on, it would be a blurry mess on camera.
