Another huge disappointment
Game developers have had a lot of trouble transforming a 2d fighter into a 3d game. I think the issue here is that 2d fighting games and 3d fighting games are 2 distinct genres and should be kept that way.
The main issue with this game is the lack of characters and the loss of the "KOF feel". This game was never meant to compete with Virtual Fighter and Tekken and frankly with characters throwing fireballs at each other in 3d it looks a bit silly.
Nevertheless the controls are fairly smooth and responsive and the graphics are at the very least, PS2 standards.
For serious 2d fighting addicts like myself you should look elsewhere
