This game sucks!

When I first heard about King Of Fighters Maximum Impact in GameInformer magazine, I was really excited. A 3D installment of one of the greatest classic 2D fighters of all time means that their will be more gameplay possibilities, and finally, an upgrade in graphics, this game has to kick ass. Then I actually played the game, and here is what I think about it. The graphics absolutely kick ass, thebackgrounds are colorful and vibrant and the character models are awesome. Sadly, that is the only thing that I enjoyed about the game as much as I thought I would. The sound, for starters, sucks, the sound effects are okay, nothing revolutionary to distinctify itself from its 2D predessesors, but the soundtrack is horrible. This has to be the worst fighting game music I have ever heard. The gameplay is good, except for the unresponsiveness of the moves and the character A.I. is horrible (they either stand back and take it with no retaliation, or they don't give you a bit of a chance to defend yourself, especially the boss)! On top of all that, the endings suck, they are just the character you chose walking toward the camera and saying something stupid, most of the time having nothing to do with their story at all, and then the camera pans upward and goes to the credits, anyone else dissapointed? Bottom line, this game is nothing close to what it could be, so if you are into fighting games and have no specific favorites, don't bother, if you are a fan of the series, however, still don't bother, or at least rent it first.
