Too complex and lacking all the features that made the total war series work

User Rating: 5.5 | King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame PC
Even though most of this game is a total war clone with RPG elements (heroic units, magic, ect), it lacks some very important features that are necessary in this type of game. Camera controls suck, but i can get over that; what really destroys this game is the lack of visual distinction between your units and the enemies. It's so bad you can never really tell which groups are winning, let alone micro manage units in battle. As far as i can tell, there's no way-point system at all: this make maneuvering a pain in the ass.

The world map has an awful interface system, and the tutorials don;t help at all. Things that were a breeze in total war, like recruiting troops and building towns, are never properly explain and hidden in sloppy menues.

Save yourself the frustration and stick to total war
