King Arthur II is a slideshow. Way too demanding oin hardware for what it delivers.

So rather than focus on what they did right in the first King Arthur and expand on that with more goodness, they decided what we needed was more eye candy and less substance. My PC runs it like a slideshow on medium settings. I can play all my other games that do a lot more without issue.
And if this game was what I so wanted it to be I would be out buying new hardware. I mean imagine King Arthur (the first game), but with smarter units. Units that will flank the enemy instead of lining up behing the unit already attacking the enemy. It's like they are waiting at the deli for their turn with the number they pulled. The enemy kills the unit before it and then says "Now butchering number 43, who has 43?".
And flying creatures have got to be cool when you are not watching them frame by frame.
All in all maybe I would have played it more had my hardware handled it, but I do not see anything revolutionary about it.
Hey guys, take a look at Lord of the Rings, BFME2. See how they did the board portion? And how they have flying units and such that look great, yet an older PC can run it no problems? Make KIng Arthuir III like that! Multiplayer in the campaign map AND in the fights.
Time to relaod THAT game!
