Great music, crappy level designs, and bad racing

User Rating: 4 | Kinetica PS2
Kinetica is a game that does well in the graphic department on characters and level designing. But actually playing on the levels is a nightmare, because you'll spend so much time crashing and hitting the floor rather than being able to keep up with all the other racers on the track. Speaking of which there are over 8 characters to pick including a few new ones if you can unlock them. There are also 12 stages to play on and they're quite difficult to master due to the bad controls and cheap AI which never seem to slip and fall not even once.

The music in the game is "Heavy Trance" or "hard techno beats". Nothing that'll annoy you but it does fit in with the games futuristic look really well.

Once you complete a number of courses under certain circumstances you can unlock art work that allow you to see what your racer actually looks like under his suit of armor.

There is a VS mode, but this doesn't add much. The game is lacking in allot of areas. If your easy to frustrait I wouldn't recommend this one at all.
