Despite some good minigames, and multiplayer. It will take some violent moves to get a response from Kinect Sport

User Rating: 6.5 | Kinect Sports X360
I like to talk about the new accessorie for the Xbox 360. The Xbox Kinect. It's basically a controller without holding a controller, simple and futuristic enough. However, when it comes to games for this perepheral, it falls flat, with games ridding from Okay, to downright awful. And one of the "Okay" games is, you guessed it, Kinect Sports.

PROS: Nice collection of minigames. Playing with a friend can be a blast, sometimes. Its pratically one of the best games for the Kinect at the moment.

CONS: Half of the minigames controls terribly. Doesn't so much to solo players. Subpar presentation.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a rip-off to Wii Sports? No? I thought so, about everyone knows Wii Sports, so obviously their gonna compare it to this. Well, i have to get Microsoft the credit... of trying.

The graphics are all that great. Not as bad as, for example, Deadly Premonition, which actually isn't a bad game. But, from a game made for Avatar's, i expected it wouldn't be that spectacular.Yet i expected that it would at least try to make it look good. Hey, its my opinion. At least the game looks colorful, and sounds good.

The minigames aren't bad, they're just hard to control, you have to VIOLENTLY control/move your body to get a signal. When you play for a while, you actually start sweating, which is, actually, to the healthly "get off your butt" commitee, a good thing.

Bowling: This is a ten-pin bowling played from a first-person perspective. Available game modes are solo game, 2-4 player competitive match or a selection of challenge modes. This minigame controls...HORRIBLY! suprisingly. It seems that you need to both right and left handed in order to play this game. Kinect Bowling is not for everyone!

Boxing: Its a Three-round match for one or two players, either split-screen or over Xbox Live. Of course. This one is pretty fun... With Two players. Playing it alone is just boring, and frustrating. But with two players, its a blast. And thats making it the best minigame in Kinect Sports

Track and Field: This one has a A selection of track and field events, Includes Hurdles, Sprint, Javelin, Discus Throw and Long Jump, all taking place at the Flame Stadium. Possible to play as a pentathlon. This one also controls badly. Of course you have to be jogging in place, like you do with the Power Pad for the NES.

Table Tennis: Solo or doubles matches. There are also a selection of challenge modes. Again, this is better with a friend.

Football: Football can be played solo against a computer-controlled team, with two players (co-operative or competitive) or in one of the skill-based challenge modes. This one is ok. The computer team seem to always win. So once again, is better with a friend to play with.

Beach Volleyball: Supports solo play against a computer-controlled team, or two players (co-operative or competitive) either split-screen or over Xbox Live. Kind of like Tennis on Wii Sports. Or Tennis in real life. Or Table Tennis on this game.

So, Kinect Sports. Did it work, or did it stank? Well, it depends. Some of the games are fun to play, but only with two players, playing them alone will only give you pain, frustrating, and injuries. The Kinect accessorie is just trying to 1-Up the Wii. Well, it got sales, did it? And this is the only good game on the Kinect, it almost works, but despite some good minigames, multiplayer, It will take some violent moves to get a response from Kinect Sports. And is only worth trying over a friends house, or at your local Best Buy like I did.
