If you like First-Person SHooters and have a PS2, this game shouldn't be left on the shelves.

Despite many other review scores, I found this game to be quite entertaining. For all of those people who call this title a "Halo-Killer" shame on you. It put expectations too high. It's because of this that reviews scored so low.

This game has three modes. the first, is a Single player mode where yo start out in the front lines as Captain Jan Templar. You're forced to push back to the city from the enemy Helghast attack where you need to go back to your main base. Eventually, you get to play as four different characters. Lugar is a type of assassin wielding a small rapid fire sniper pistol, a small knife and able to use thermal vision goggles. Rico is a trash-talking demolitions expert uses a chain gun with a rocket launcher attachment and lots of armor. Hakka is thr fourth player that uses enemies weapons and goes through enemy sensors.

The problem with single player is that there were too many squad levels and it never felt like a war because I was fighting a four-man army. That took the relism out of the game. Also, the ending was quite uninspiring.

Multiplayer is the best thing about this game. With 6 different game modes, 2 diffrent factions, 8 maps, 16 players online, up to 15 bots on a map, 3 different difficulty modes and around 20 different weapons. This is a game you dont want to miss out.

The third mode, is more of a gimmick where you can watch AI bots fight each other in big open levels. The cool part is that it's in third-person. So it's what the game would look like in third-person.

This is a game any PS2 owner should get. You can get a lot of milage in it and shouldn't be missed.
