1 Like the graphic reminded me a lot of halo 4. I think this could be a good day on release.
What everyone has to think about is that when the PS3 was launched along side Resistance: Fall of Man, Sony received many complaints in relation to the fact that the graphics of the game didn't utilize the full capabilities of the PS3's graphic hardware and processing power. However, think of all of the games out now: Uncharted 3, Crysis 3, Dead Space 3 etc. Which now have began or succeed in to utilizing the console's full capabilities. This story will reign true with the PS4 I guarantee it.
@RicochetRazza The hardware and the software Dev Kit both have been made more accesible so i think the curve will be much faster this time around but nnetheless you are right!

4 Like medicore or not impressed !? U guys are total fanboys and haters. Im a gamer, not only PC (main from 98') and what I saw here is very impressive, just look how complex the world looks, how much debris and efx is there. I think if game would be relesed on PC it would stretch HI END gfx almost to max! For me looks very good!

All I know is KZ2 had the best MP which was abandoned in 3 to be more COD-like. That killed it for me. If they can get back to that originality I'm back in (still no Day 1 tho).
@thatguy_b KZ2 is one of the best FPS;s i've ever played. Never got the chance to play 3 though. Though from you and a few others are saying it isn't as good.
Killzone world looks so vibrant and populated now compared to earlier games, really like this new direction.
Just saw the real HD version, or something like it. I am not sure it is REAL next gen graphics, but they are pretty damn good, on par with the best out there, like Crysis 3 or Far cry 3. No that it matters though, I will probably be buying my PS3 while PS4 is launched,
It's a bit too early for next-gen. All we're going to get is a little bit fancier graphics, more complex environments, and less loading time. Honestly, the only thing the next gen has to offer are better shaders and... less loading time.
Mediocre graphics, but this generation will help the PCs (the king) because they use the x86 architecture, which will mean better multiplatform games.

If this is the max potential of the PS4....Well then houston, we have a problem.
@lorider25 I agree. But, as with all sony launch titles, they never use the full potential of the system. But i'm sure they will do their best with this game cause it is a MAJOR playstation title.

2 Like Very disappointing. PS1 to PS2 was a big improvement. PS2 to PS3 was big, but this is just call of duty black ops 2 maxed out on the pc. Very pathetic.
@wargod9001 agree with first part of comment, but cod 2 maxed on pc... buahahaha, get a grip, cod engine is the oldest and crapiest of current gen...

1 Like Didn't see much next gen improvements until we start flying around the city. Honest, if that entire scene was done in real time, then I am impressed. The sheer number of things happening at once is amazing..

is it me or is there a helghan cities in this planet.if so it kind of makes sense probably an act compensation to the millions of helghans that die 30 years ago.just speculation though

@moncealyo Of course shooters are getting old. thats the game that sells the most every year, just so happens to be a shooter. There's a massive market out there for shooters. Lets not pretend to e naive. Besides I cant vouch for 3 but KZ2 stands above most shooters in terms of it gamepaly and immersion by a country mile. So we can expect something from this title.
1 Like I like the Killzone series, but this demo bores me to be honest. It just looks so generic without a hint of gameplay imagination and innovation. But most important of all, can we have a KZ game where we actually play as the Helghsts? Let's be completely honest here, the Helghasts are what make the KZ games so cool. They have much more personality and MUCH better sense of style than the plain, bland, boring, vanilla ISA.
I would love to play KZ game as the Helghasts exacting vengeance, slaughtering civilians and conquering planets from the absurdly incompetent ISA.
wow.......not the kind of city i was expecting been that killzone was mostly based on helghan which was a military and dark industrial looking wasteland. but seeing this with the addition of revolutionary graphics its beautiful.HAIL PS3!!!!!!!!!!
As awesome as the graphics could be, it's still going to look "last gen" if the animations remain the same. Seeing an almost life-like character move like something for the PS2 is kinda jarring @_@;
@splinter10 It looks much better than COD, but the gameplay is similar. Cinimatic opening, calm walking, then explosion, you see dude brutally execute 2 people through hazy vision, stab him...Seen almost all of it before. Except the environment is beutiful and the part where he's hanging onto the rope from the dropship is cool, even though it feels rehashed.
