Not a revolution, but it does everything (except story) exceptionally
Killzone 3 is the first FPS I have really enjoyed in two years. The shooting is weighty, and bullets have real impact. It is a a difficult game, but this just adds to the satisfaction of kills.
Most FPSs that I play, I almost completely ignore the singleplayer. This singleplayer I could play many times. It is almost as exciting to kill AI Helghast as it is to kill in multiplayer.
When it comes to FPSs, multiplayer is what really carries them. It is what kept me playing CoD. The multiplayer in Killzone 3 is great. There are no lag issues. I lag more on PC shooters than on my PS3. The community is really active. I find games almost instantly, and everyone is more or less of the same skill level.
In conclusion, the graphics are amazing, it has an exciting satisfying singleplayer and exhilarating multiplayer. And that is all you need for an awesome FPS.
