KZ2 is nothing new but its well done...

Killzone2 is a high octane ride that lacks the finesse and features of the genres staples. Its visuals are some of best of this console generation with an emphasis on cinematic lighting and brooding atmosphere. (its immersive to say the least) What KZ2 conveys best is the chaos that is war, not some skirmish but a full fledged military conflict. MP is well thought out and as polished as the campaign. The developers continuing support with DLC and patches make the game worth revisiting. On to the bad; the controls though improved still lack real positive feed back between thumbs and on screen character. Also the stories pacing is off with weak characters and dialog. (nothing more then profanitys) Also for a game in which most of the campaign is spent along side a computer character it seemed odd not having a co-op or a splitscreen option. With that said its a must for the adrenalin junkie FPS gamer who owns a PS3 and has been looking for a game to push their console and HDtv to the limits... This is it.
