Kessen is a historically accurate game with a lot of fun…. You start Kessen as the Tokugawa clan around late 1500’s and early 1600’s and the game is played through real time strategy with armies who are commanded by actual historically accurate commanders and you fight in some of the historically accurate battles but the best thing is you get to fight them your way as the commander. You must overwhelm numbers of enemy armies with your armies and you don’t always just have to charge in, you are allowed to use battle skills if your armies moral is high enough to hit from a long distance or destroy from close range. You also get mid battle options to bribe enemies to join your plight. Kessen features beautiful cinematics , great voiceovers in English or Japanese with sub-titles, good sound in general and the control is great too. The only fallback is not enough battles for general gamers and the ones there are might be a little to long so to be fair my final rating is…. Graphics 10/10 Gameplay 8/10 Sound 10/10 Replay value 5/10 Bang for buck 7/10
