Simple gameplay (for a strategy game), and yet very addiciting & fun..

Holy crap! im never though i would have so much fun on this game. This game is a perfect one for someone that hasnt played a strategy game, for its simplicity, and also its awfuly fun and addicting. Also the story is awesome, the characters and the voice acting (in japanese original dialogue with english subs, that is) are best of the best. A great mixing of strategy and hack & slashing. Below is a better detailed breakdown if my experience on this game: * Gameplay: 9.0 (The gameplay is a mix of real time strategy, controlling a whole batallion at a time [you can switch betwen batalions or groups and you have quite a few, 6 or more depending the battle] and hack a slash [thats with the options of "Rampage" which im getting adicted to it. When you use that option you control only the leader of the batalion you are using at the moment and solo through the enemy lines...you even see your brother in arms waging war while you brake havoc on your foes, very great and cool].) * Graphics: 10.0 (One of the best graphics and animation i have seen on PSX2 so far) * Sound: 9.0 (Soundtrack is great, it fits to the enviorment of the game in every aspect of it. Voice acting...depends...if you play it the english dubbed it will sound kind of weird, like in the case you will see like the voices kind of dont go with the chars additude and looks, plus you get the famous awfuly bad voice / lip sync...but overall, the english voice acting is competent and does its job well...now, the original japanese voices, now thats another story. Voices on each one of the character fits perfectly to it and sounds awesome, and best of all, no voice / lip desync...all fits perfectly...an besides, since this is a game based on Japan's feudal times on the mid 1500's, playing it on its original lenguage makes the experience more smoother, realistic and enjoyable....) * Tilt: 9.0 (game has good reply value, after finishing it it yet get extra dificulty and extra goodies, as well as new chars to find. )
