Customized sword techinques and gameplay are very immersive. Story is good at first but dies and turns into repetition.

In all I enjoyed this game. It would have been much better if they had continued the storyline. I got it fro under $5 at Game Stop and still enjoy it now. The ability to customize sword techniques and the actual training was probably some of it's finer points. The graphics are well done and very realistic though the background sound effects can get very annoying. Combat is either very intense or completely easy and eventually become too repetitive. I completed the game in a couple days and was suprised to find that it didn't lead anywhere other than getting the school and fighting in the imperial matches or defending the school from challengers over and over again. It seems as if the game wasn't finished in it's storyline. I'm going to look for it's sequels and see if they are as good or better.
