Ken Griffey is one of the SNES greatest baseball games if not THE greatest.

User Rating: 9.5 | Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball SNES
Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball is the entire title for what most of us remember as Ken Griffey. I have to say that it must really be an honor for Ken Griffey to be associated with this SNES game, since as far as I know it is one of the best arcade style baseball games of the time. It is my opinion that this game fell short of a perfect 10 for baseball games because of two mayor setbacks the game has. One is that it wasn't able to get the Mayor League players license, so it uses different names for the real life players for the 1993 season, the good thing is that you can change all the players names to the originals, provided you know all the names. Two, is only records statistics for your team players, since the game only simulates the results for the rest of the league but does not take into consideration the stats for the players. There you have it; these are the two biggest issues that prevent Ken Griffey from obtaining a perfect score.

The game is amazing, the graphics were great for its time and the game play was simply outstanding, especially when playing against a friend. Other than going at it with a friend you can also go for the single player season, all star and World Series. In season mode you can choose between different lengths for the season where the full season mode is 162 games. In All Star you can play the all star game or the home run derby and World Series is pretty obvious.

This game is truly a gem, one of those rare games that do not have all the conventional reasons to have a high score but despite what the logic might say the game play is the one doing all the talking and getting listened to. This is a superb game that deserves to be played for all the 162 games the season lasts.
