Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a third-person shooter game. The game revolves around two prosecuted criminals who were meant to be on death row; Adam "Kane" Marcus and James Seth Lynch, it tells their struggle against a powerful and merciless mercenary group called The7. The game has a sixteen mission story mode which also has two-person split-screen co-op play, and online multiplayer for up to 8 players.
I genuinely hated every minute of time I wasted playing this game, the AI system just made me want to scream and throw my controller at the screen! Your so called 'partners' would turn around and start shooting you instead of the enemies, they ignore a large majority of commands that you give them and can't stay alive for 5 minutes! Another issue was that you'd be constantly running back and forth reviving these nuisances.
Another reason reason I loathe this game is the excessive use of foul language, it was worse than GTA for Liberties sake! You don't need to swear in every single cutscene do you? I found it to be very unrealistic and wrecked the story for me.
Moving on to combat and variety of choice in actions, Dead Men had a very "You MUST do this, this and this" it gave the player very limited choices and forced you into pointless and bland shootouts. For example, even if you aimed your crosshairs dead on target you would miss. The terrible accuracy in the shooting mechanics of this game infuriated me so much, 9/10 you would miss.
The only good thing about the game is the online features it presents, with the option to betray your partners in crime it adds a sense of thrill and suspicion to who you're working with.
Overall, I find this game to be a waste of my money and time and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
