Seeing as how there is 1 user who open about 15 accounts and spammed a bunch of 1.0 scores, here's a real review.

User Rating: 8 | Kane & Lynch: Dead Men PC
To start off, I'd like to tell any serious readers who are looking for real information on this game to actually read most of these 1.0-3.0 scores, and realize that they all sound as if they were all written by the same person with waaay too much free time. Now, on to the review.

Kane and Lynch: Dead Men is not the best game I've ever played. However, I did find it very enjoyable. I have expierenced no crashing or slowdown on my PC, which is very well maintained and I do have a dedicated gaming PC with no other software running.

I will spare you details about the story, becasue I'm sure you've read some official reviews. What I found enjoyable about Kane and Lynch is that it's refreshing. It seems the focus as of lately has been to make shooter games more story-based than necessary (Stalker, BioShock, etc...). Not to say that there is anything wrong with a story-based shooter, but I was beginning to miss the mindless entertainment brought by games with a story that wasn't taken from a professionally written script and that don't focus the first half on character development. The gameplay is just fun. It plays similar to Max Payne without the bullet time. The missions are pretty unique and the story, although not the main focus, is still intact and is actually pretty decent. I thought the characters were sufficiently created to fill the part they were meant to...criminals and sociopaths, not your typical do-no-wrong-hero that we tend to get in most games...so no, I didn't grow 'attached' to anyone, but I did get some insight to what kind of person they were.

As I already said, the game isn't perfect. It's short, pretty easy, and just not the best put-together game on the market. However, it is still an enjoyable game, and doesn't deserve the negative and childish scoring that this board has aquired.
