Starts off ok, but then...

Hey. I just got this game very recently for my pc. I only got this game, because I realized it was something I knew had come out, but my interest was low, because I didnt really know anything about it and no one I knew was talking about it, and also GS talked about it only briefly before moving on to better games. Anyways, my interest was sparked when I saw the second one is coming out and the pictures and trailer look amazing to me. So I figured I'll pick up the first one so I know the story. My graphics card is pretty descent so i was playing at highest graphic quality and about 2-4x anti-alias which is pretty good. The first thing I noticed while playing is the graphics. Sure, graphics do not make a game at all in my opinion, but it seemed lazily put together. They made the graphics for Kane and Lynch characters very superb and great looking. Unfortunately, everything else is just sloppy and unrealistic looking. I mean sure the characters faces look amazing, but if you can put that much detail in the character, I shouldn't see poorly put together surroundings. During all in-game voice sequences, their lips are not in sync at all and sometimes didn't even move, but yet they were talking somehow. For a 360 and ps3 game, they could do a lot better than that. Also, the story isn't all that good and seemed cliche' to me. After about an hour in a half of playing, I paused the game and realized wow I truly do not care what happens next in this story and I don't care about any of the characters. I uninstalled the game and the disc is somewhere in my house now. The gameplay isnt all that good either I guess. Its all about shooting which is fine since it pretty much is a shooter, but its also poorly put together. For instance, if someone is behind a wall or kneeling down behind a car, and you can see a leg or shoulder sticking out. If you shoot that, the game will recognize it as a miss until the person comes completely out of cover. I got to a point where I was just shooting a guy in the head...literally, it couldn't be a miss in any way, but apparently they were... I have to give the game developers some credit, I mean whether its good or not, its still a game and took a lot of time and work to make. Even though I feel It was rushed at some point and they basically released an unfinished beta as a full game.
