A good dungeon crawler with superheroes!

User Rating: 8 | Justice League Heroes PS2
Justice League Heroes is a good superhero game that does a lot of things correct. The in-game graphics are crisp and shows that the aging Dark Alliance engine can still pull it off. The sound effects are excellent but the voice-overs are only average.

Like I said earlier, the in-game graphics are good but some of the cut-scenes are somewhat poor. The details of the heroes during the cut-scenes is nice... but everything else looked rushed. The animation is fluid (the capes for example) and I never noticed any big slowdowns even when there was a lot of action on screen.

The sound effects during combat is excellent and the musical score is low-key but was really nice. The voice-overs was only average.

This game's combat was less chaotic than X-Men Legends and it was easier to level up or add certain boost you'd acquired during the game. The way the game restrict the use to certain heroes for some of the missions added a certain cohesive level design but if diminished the replayability. This game is also shorter than Legends and shouldn't take you more than 10 to beat.

This game is not as good as X-Men Legends but it's still a good dungeon crawler if you like that kind of stuff.
