It doesn't feel like 10 years since the first Just Dance game was released back in 2009 and ten years later the series is still going strong on especially on Nintendo Wii over the past few years when it comes to motion controls and anyone can easily pick up a controller to play.

Just Dance 2020 feels more like a celebration of the franchise it does feature a new mode called All Stars commemorating the franchise's 10th anniversary with 11 tracks in total representing including a track from this year's edition. This is a nice way to celebrate the franchise and looking back at the series as whole. The Nintendo Switch version of Just Dance 2020 still has the same gameplay mechanics use one of the Joy-Con controllers in your right hand, following the motions of the on-screen dancer and their choreographed routine, you can play up to 1 - 6 players making it more enjoyable with more players. The controls are very simple to use if you've played the games in the past on the Nintendo Wii it's more or less the same gameplay gimmicks and concept not really missing much. Each track dance to will judge your performance from a 1 star to a 5 five star rank or higher you score the more points you'll earn to use for the Mojo Machine unlocking stickers, emblems and titles.

If you don't have a Joy-Con controller or needing them to be charged up you can use the Just Dance app as a controller, which fans have been wanting on a Nintendo console since the Wii and Wii U never had this feature. Using the Just Dance app in Just Dance 2020 means you'll have another option for playing the game, but you will need an internet connection to join in.

40 songs have been added in Just Dance 2020 including Twice, Katy Perry, Little Big, Merk & Kremont, Black Eyed Peas and many more. There is a wide variety of tracks to dance to for both kids and adults, Just Dance Unlimited makes a return again if you've paid for the daily, weekly, monthly or a years subscription you'll have access of the entire library of music from the Just Dance franchise.
