Just Cause 2 Trailer (Xbox 360)

The last game was extremely annoying. You turn around for 2 seconds, a whole army spawns behind you and no matter how many you kill, they keep comin'.

the frist one had cool agency vehicles and messing around with airplanes was fun but i hope it is better

The first one was great fun but had issues, and this one seems to take all the problems and remedy them with PURE AWESOME. I'm definitely getting this.

@francisthompson - yea I thought that too lol Just Cause does demand a certain 'suspension of reality' to enjoy :D But I'm really impressed with how this game is shaping up, they've addressed at least one of my biggest issues with the first game which was that, despite having a massive map, everywhere looked the same. In this one you can already see the snowy mountains, the dry desert areas, etc, as well as the traditional lush jungle. I hope they've got a better 'fast travel' system too.

I love these types of games but it seems I'm disappointed everytime by the end result. Mercenaries 2 anyone?

This actually looks really good, any game with a grappling hook should be. The first one was kinda "meh" but there was room for improvement in a sequel.

Very handy left-hand, I say. I doubt there would not be any comparisons to Bionic Commando later, but I say the grappling feature here seems much slicker. And yes, the first game was just average. As for whether this game will actually be fantastic will depend on how much Avalanche Studios have learned. In any case, Avalanche Studios must get it right on this one, for it is facing financial difficulties what with having recently lost two contracts and laying off 77 employees. Eidos is a talented publisher who really knows how to sell games, but it can only sell poor games so much.

didnt like the first one, the controls were sloppy, the movement wasnt fluid, the game was really repetitive, the driving was simply awful, i played like half and hour and almost destroyed the game with hate and indignation..jajaja..........and i played almost everything that got in my hands ....this one cant......really cant.....

i have been waiting for this game for a long time its gonna be sick, 4 years after the original game, that is quite awhile to work on a game and you can tell the games gone to a different level, it was made for the new gen console where as the original was done for the original xbox and just ported over at the last min. this looks like you still have a permanent parachute, and you obviously still have a grappling hook, those 2 things are what makes this game so cool. snag a dude off his bike, go jump it off a cliff and fly... i for one am very excited about this game, and am glad that eidos realized that they had a good thing when they made the first one, and has not rushed the game out and make it what it should have been originally. even if you have been convinced this wont be good or played the other, im sure that you will most likely enjoy it this time around with how much they have changed it. watch just try it....

man i dont understand why all these people are smashing on this game... yeah the first one wasnt that great graphic wise for the cut scenes and the characters, and im thinking its because the majority of the detail went to the island and how huge the island was, but the game was fun because it wasnt GTA or SR. it was an adventure on a huge island, you had a permanent parachute, grappling hook and your imagination. the missions were just basically thrown in there to get you around the island and give you areas to explore that you otherwise might not have seen, because it actually was a huge place. and bionic commando?? are you serious? have you played the first one? you sure as hell dont swing from building to building like a spider-man game with a main character that has a mecha arm. the first just cause, you played it and knew one day there would be a second because the whole concept was different and it was fun. when the game play 1st opens up for you to control the guy your flying through the air looking at a small island then you see how huge it is falling to towards the beach, you land popping a few dudes off then hop in the back of the SUV gunnin' suckas down. gets you to like it and keep it for a lil bit until you get rid it.
